The Organisers
Andrea Blomkvist is a Teaching Associate at the University of Sheffield. She works in cognitive science, and is particularly interested in the cognitive architecture of memory and imagination. Her views on cognitive architecture informs other areas in her research, such as the nature of imagination as a skill, explanations for aphantasia, non-human episodic memory, and content generation in memory and imagination.

Deb Marber is a PhD student at the University of St Andrews, where she works on the role that imagination plays in shaping belief. Her project lies at the intersection of epistemology, philosophy of mind and philosophy of action. She is particularly interested in the role that the imagination plays in our understanding of reality.

Jacopo Frascaroli is a 3rd-year PhD student at the University of York, where he works on an interdisciplinary project entitled "Learning from Fiction". He is interested in the imagination as a means of bridging gaps between traditional philosophical concerns and the acquisitions of cognitive science.
